Is it Game Boy or Gameboy?

This is not me trying to pick a fight or argue with anything, but I think in my time online I've seen a 50/50 split on whether the name of Nintendo's legendary handheld line is spelled as one word or two. How do you spell it? Is there an official stance on this?

My french colleagues have problems with a certain "Game Gere", bu they unanimously use "la/ma/une" (if that makes sense) for game boy though.

Always ever seen as 2 words when written with roman characters.
