My takeaway is that your list of AAA games played includes only one game.
It's not even the most unpolished AAA game released this year. We had Anthem this year and Control too of you count it as AAA.

An unoptimized game is unpolished, is it not?And Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
(also, Control wasn't unpolished as much as not super optimized for base consoles)
The second half of the game could use a lot of work but that's less to do with polish than level design going out the window. Game was a solid 8 until Dathomir when it plummeted to about 6.
