I experienced a bit of texture pop in, but nothing like ME back in the day.
The second half of the game could use a lot of work but that's less to do with polish than level design going out the window. Game was a solid 8 until Dathomir when it plummeted to about 6.

It's not even the most unpolished AAA game released this year. We had Anthem this year and Control too of you count it as AAA.
i have 2080ti and i9 9900k with ssd and played on 90% of 4k, 4k drops my fps instantly below 60
they do get mentioned, its just people like from software and their games a lot more
I'll never get over the fact that the demo was more finished than the final game.

No but it's pretty unpolished, I have the game but don't really plan on playing it until sometime next year. It's too buggy at the moment.
Definitely not but it definitely was unpolished and I felt it was a bit overrated after finishing it.
My takeaway is that your list of AAA games played includes only one game.
And Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
(also, Control wasn't unpolished as much as not super optimized for base consoles)
I just had to restart it because I ran into an unfixable blocker. Spoke to EA about it and a fix was promised, but it didn't work. They recommended I restart the game after speaking to them again.
It's truly really bad. There are many telltale signs of a rushed release. I also noticed several instances of pretty strange oversights, like tutorial button prompts appearing as "UNBOUND" on the Xbox version! The game needed a few more months in the oven. It's a shame, it's my favorite EA game of the generation, but it's severely unpolished.

With that monster you could brute Force almost anything. On par with recommended the game on PC did had some frame issues.
It was surprisingly unpolished, but not even close to one of the most unpolished games ever. The worst thing I ran into (outside of shit performance on some areas/encounters/Planets) was part of the world not loading and falling to my death because of it.
Played it on Xbox One X and ran into almost no issues, outside of ones that probably caused myself in gameplay.
Say what you will about anthem but at least I wasn't able to easily sequence break it multiple fucking times with very little effort.
The game has far to many flaws for me to enjoy right now. I started it back up again last night and the load times have been atrocious for a game in 2019. The save system is archaic and the back tracking is ridiculous. Hit detection and control is also pretty bad at times as well.
God Dathomir was rough. The village or whatever where the brothers live was some of the worst level design I've encountered in ages.
I couldn't even finish the game because of how buggy and broken it was on base PS4. shame too because what I played I liked.
