Is ERA Anonymous Confessions Happening This Year?

Hello all,
I just wanted to ask if this still is happening this year. I know last year things got crazy but I wasn't sure if there was any discussions were being made about it. I personally like confessions just for the silly ones and I have shared a few of the embarrassing things that have happened to me over the years. I also hope everybody is doing well and had a good Halloween :)

What were some infamous ones from the last few years? I still remember the one where a racist failed a black kid and ruined his life. That was the worst one.

I remember Sabrina made up some of them stories too? And others. Still sad she is permed.

I remember the Op of the GAF one couldn't continue. Depressing stuff. Too easy to game as well. Lots of stuff is also shock factor.

Too much shock and disturbing confessions, even if fake.

I still had to filter a lot that were just too much and broke rules.

NTGYK quit after some confessed to sending fake stuff.

I remain unfazed, so I would have continued no problem... Not sure if that is good or bad though...

An unknown Era member leaked the email address, which neoak hid from lurkers to stop bad actors from ruining the thread. As a result, a few people shared their pedo fantasies to neoak for other Era members to see.

qq-anon people being qq-anon, as usual.

Email address was always public, and posted on a certain forum. They stayed away from it after the porn mail started and I asked them to please back off in the OP, and stayed away for the 2nd and 3rd year.

I will confirm I got a lot of those, but my faith in mankind was gone years ago anyway so if they tried to make me flinch, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I thought the issue was the mods shut it down over so many racist confessions.

Oh I had no idea you made it public.

I became bitter when I saw the thread spiral down even more than it was before it was locked. I assumed that an Era member was the catalyst because of stuff like this. Members like the one in the link create an atmosphere of distrust, at least for me.

I will edit my previous post.

I enjoyed it, and I did appreciate some of the comments that were made about a confession I previously did. It's a shame it isn't back.

It was actually one of the highlights that made the forum feel a bit more fun and a community. Would be a shame if it doesn't come back.

It's a shame that last year's confession thread got wildly out of hand enough that the mods decided that it needed to be shut down. I love the yearly thread and I'm quite sad that it's not coming back.

Granted, it had its problems with NSFL depictions of god-knows-what, fake "confessions" and even trash "franchise" confessions (Soulfucker comes to mind) but it was always fun to read a few every day in November and people's responses. I'd even sent one in before, nothing outrageous or even that exciting, but the responses from others made me reassess a situation I'd got myself in and I took steps to change it.

So, coming from someone who received help from such a thread, I'm sad to see that it won't be coming back.

We received the message from Neoak and we've been deliberating on it, there's just been a lot going on. We'll be in touch with him directly once a decision has been made. That's probably going to be after the election chaos dies down.
