Wouldn't 100% count on pc version, bravely 1 and second never came to pcI can't really buy it or get into it now so I might just end up going for the inevitable PC version way down the line.
Yeh but look at how things have gone so far on Switch with third-party "exclusives", even those published by Nintendo. Not a certainty of course but it seems to trend that way.Wouldn't 100% count on pc version, bravely 1 and second never came to pc
Oh wow, I didn't know that. That makes it more interesting. As you said, it might not be the exact same team of people but I still find it strange that they designed the Brave/Default system that way in BD2.To give some more context:
Silicon Studios(developer of BD and Second) sold their game development division to Creek & River, Creek & River developed Bravely Default: Fairy's Effect, the development of team of Fairy's Effect then became their own subsidiary called ClayTech Works and have developed Bravely Default 2.
It might not the exact same team of people but it's also not an entirely unrelated studio.
The guy with the fedora and the new aesthetic totally erased my interest. I'll definitely give the ost a listen though.
Has there been any news on online features. Me and my cousin played the original at the same time and loved sending powerful attacks to help each other out.
Want to level up your party when you're not playing? Expeditions allow you to head off across the open ocean while your Nintendo Switch is in Sleep Mode. A successful voyage will reap benefits such as items that grant you extra HP, EXP and Job Points.
Connecting to the internet will also allow your heroes to meet up with other seafarers, potentially earning even more precious loot in the process!
Ok cool. Thanks for the clarification. To give some more context:

until a few seconds ago I honestly thought this was just a remaster of Bravely Second
This is where I'm at after playing the demo. This game feels like a 7/10.I'm lukewarm about it. It looks fine, but not groundbreaking. I liked the first but didn't love it. I hope this one is a huge step up but I'm not sure it is.
This is decent advice for pretty much every game where it's an option, imo.Honestly, just play with the Japanese voice track and then the voice acting quality is no longer an issue.
I quite like the battle music, the opening bars remind me of FFIX's battle music, I think?
"――On the other hand, was there anything you wanted to change with "II"?
Revo: In fact, the themes relating to the Warriors of Light change from scene to scene with certain elements in mind. It's similar to the conjugation of verbs. Beyond that I dared not to change the intro to the game…... I thought it'd be exciting if every "BRAVELY DEFAULT" battle started with the same intro, like with "FINAL FANTASY", the "Dedededededededede". So I decided to leave it in this game as well. This time, I added another intro on top of that intro. You may think it's the job of the special effect department, but I made it while paying homage to the masterpiece, and included it in the soundtrack, so please enjoy it (laughs)."
