Absolutely, I can't wait. I thought the first game was excellent , I hope this game has the same level of narrative ambitions/its own take on thenkind of thing they did there.
I had been completely ignoring it, as I never played the originals. Then a couple of days ago I found out that that it was unconnected (like FF or DQ), so I gave the demo a shot.
Only played maybe less than an hour, but (after confirming I could switch to Japanese VO... JFC I literally cannot play games with British English VO), I'm kind of charmed.
Reviews pending, I might grab a pair of them there Nintendo vouchers for it and save the other for either Famicom Detective Club or Mario Golf.
I say 'reviews pending' because I know at least one of the previous BD games apparently lost it halfway through.
You definitely can in EU. They've done it with a few Square Enix games.I think vouchers can only be used by first party titles or games published by Nintendo. You may not be able to use it on BD2.
Possibly. But I've yet to hear a good one. There are good and bad British VOs the same as anywhere else, Nintendo in general just tend to be bad in this area

I thought Dragon Quest 8 had a great one, guv.
:P
Not at all. The original team isn't even working on this one right? It's the Bravely Default mobile developers?

No. Staff behind BD1 and Bravely 2nd such as Kei Sone (Lead programmer) and Hajime Ojuma (Design Manager / Artist) among other long time staff basically reprised their roles for BD2.
I don't understand the title. What does "default" mean in the context of the game?
The game's title represented the game's main theme of self-reliance: not blindly following the will of others, and following your own will. "Bravely" symbolized courage, while "Default" symbolized denial.
