Iran state TV reports they are no longer bound by any provisions of 2015 nuclear deal

Once they have a nuclear weapon all this will sort of seem quaint. Saber rattling against a nuclear foe is a different game.
Of course they are abandoning the deal entirely. You can't even fault Iran for this. Nuclear deterrent is the only way to ensure that the US can't force regime change on you.

I admire your confidence in this. If North Korea can make them and Iran was already on the way, I really have to disagree with you here.
He's right though. Anyone even remotely in the crosshair of american state terrorism will look at this and say i need nukes ASAP.
U.S. foreign policy has proven time and time again that if you want to protect your regime, you get nuclear weapons and use them as a deterrent.
It's in no country's interest to work with the US on anything that involves long-term peace. The US just should never be trusted and the best way to protect yourself is to have nuclear capabilities.

Listen, it's a nice gesture and all, but the US is basically just fucking around with the middle east to a degree that the only deterrent might be nukes.
I'm so fucking happy that one of my good friends is now being fucking deployed because of this fuck wit president.
They were following it to avoid EU sanctions because when the US pulled out, the EU said they'd keep the deal going if Iran did.
How is any ally supposed to work with this?

In the last couple of years (at least) the US has pretty much show that any agreement with them is basically useless because they will only uphold it as long as they feel like it.
Add to that how they treated the Kurds (yeah, remember that? Feels like everybody just stopped talking about it) and you can be pretty much sure that nobody, especially in the Middle East will ever trust America ever again.
Nukes are the best way to defend against American imperialism. Just look at the deference Trump shows North Korea. Iran needs nukes if they want to protect their people.
Trump is essentially shitting the bed where every future president will have to lay on. The word of the US President is now essentially worthless because there's no guarantee that any long term agreements will be upheld by the next administration.
Well, it'll take some work and some time, but I'm sure putting an end to constant threats of annihilation via Twitter will be an important first step.
