Just curious to see what browser iOS/Mac OS users tend to use. I've used Chrome exclusively for years, but am trying to ween myself off of it, and onto Safari, which seems to be slightly easier to use on iOS due to it being a bit more native to the platform. There are a couple quirks I'm getting used to, but it's working out well enough.

What do you use?

I use the iOS version of Edge, and will probably start using that in Mac when they release it.

I am a Windows Phone refugee clinging to the comforts of my old home.

i feel like this poll could use some differentiation. Safari on iOS and Chrome on OSX

This is so interesting, I didn't realize how prevalent Safari would be. I figured since so many people use Chrome on desktop, they'd want to use it on mobile too. Shows what I know

Safari is the best browser I've used. Chrome is tied to Google, so that's a huge no.

I've been using Safari on all my apple devices.

Safari has been the most fast and responsive browser I've used on my mbp since I got it. Chrome always starts chugging and killing battery after a while.

Safari,
And since nobody mentioned yet,
It's getting a huge upgrade on iPadOS this fall, so yeah, only getting better than it was

Safari, on both iOS and MacOS.

You'd have to pay me to use a Google product.

Windows + iOS

I use Firefox on both because the send tab to mobile/send to desktop feature is nice

Safari with Edge as backup on Mac. Safari all the time on iOS.

Chrome is full of Google's tracking crap, isn't very good for battery life and isn't very Mac-like.

Firefox has had some serious security vulnerabilities, drains the battery even worse than Chrome and isn't very Mac-like.

Safari on both. I would probably use Chrome - it'd be nice if everything could actually sync between all my devices - but my MacBook's ancient, so the difference in optimisation between Chrome and Safari makes a massive difference. And on my iPad, the whole 'Safari'll always be the default' thing just makes going out of my way to use Chrome too much of a pain.

It's annoying to have everything sync up between my phone and my PC, and my iPad and my laptop, but not both sets.

I've defaulted to Safari. Chrome still eats up too much power, no matter your settings. the updated Firefox looks like it may be worth switching too though

Chrome, but I should probably start weaning off of it. It's become obvious that the RAM consumption is ridiculous.

I use Safari on iOS and Firefox on PC. Don't like the mobile version of Firefox and I don't need sync.

This.

Why spend all that money on a Mac then let google run rampant on it with their tracking and whatnot.

Also chrome on iOS is just safari with a different skin.

Safari on iOS (all browsers on iOS are Safari anyway, so whatever), Firefox on MacOS.
Used to use Safari, but Firefox just does more for me. Chrome is Spyware.

At home I use Safari. It does everything I want it to do pretty quickly.

At work (software engineer) I use Chrome because our internal apps are written for Chrome only.

On iOS I use Safari too.

I've been using safari on both mobile and desktop for years. I haven't strayed because of the cloud features of the ecosystem.

I only use Firefox to look at porn because one time I forgot to turn on private browsing on safari and had to reset everything.

Edge on iOS. I leave Safari for family usage browser so I can keep my personal browsing separate. I might switch them around though since I'm liking it in iOS 13 with the new features.

My Macbook Pro isn't my main computer and since I use Chrome on all my other devices, I use Chrome on it as well.

Safari.

It's fast, simple, elegant and has adblockers. Everything I need.

If Apple is to believed about protecting your privacy when browsing, then that's a bonus.

Until recently, Safari on iOS and Mac. For the last week I have been trying out Vivaldi my Mac and so far I quite like it. Safari's lack of support for 4k on YouTube was the main reason. No complaints about Vivaldi so far.
