to be more specific, hold the playstation button and share button together for three seconds to get the controller in pairing mode, then select it from the Bluetooth menu

Yup, it's not compatible. It's coming up for 6 years old, think the A7 probably couldn't rock all the new features.

Well, I took the dive and put iPad OS on my iPad Pro, and everything is working fine except one app that I'm beta testing....really hope it gets updated soon to support iPad OS because, uhhh...the full release is right around the corner, lol.

Wonder what the plan for the GM is. People aren't going to be expected to mass uninstall and reinstall their apps. Maybe make it so that the first app update after the GM isn't a delta update but a silent redownloading of the whole thing?
Err, I mean, hardcore nerds will re-install all apps, 2x speed is a big deal, but who else will even think to doing this without knowing it?
I am sure that Apple has something planned. I bet they're banking on rolling out the 2x as apps are regularly updated and downloaded to phones. Maybe a delta update will give the speed improvements.
Pretty sure that's what's going to happen. Your average joe surely doesn't update apps manually, so they won't even notice the increased download time.

Yeah, having to re-install many pages of apps will take a long time. I'll have to re-login to everything with my many accounts, which just seems like a waste of time.
Offload them and redownload them.

You sure offload works the same as a full delete/reinstall? I don't mind offloading if that really works but how can you tell?

And I believe since it's deleting the app itself but keeping the data so it should work the same.
Speed improvements could be anecdotal but for the time it took to offload some and download them back I feel like they're faster opening

Installed ios13 Beta, and i kinda like it. It feels snappier, but, why are there Memojis now with Emojis together? Please tell my i can deactivate Memojis somehow?

I force closed safari and reopened it and now the option is back in its usual place
Anything I should know before jumping in to the ios13 beta? I use FB,Insta,Safari, Reddit and Twitter mostly, with Outlook email.

If you use outlook you'll be fine, the only thing truly broken is Mail app

Not that I'm complaining, but the faster app launches seem like such a band-aid to a larger memory management problem on iOS. Apple's been advertising faster app launch times like every other release in recent years. Yet here I am after iOS 12's startup time improvements, and it seems like all my apps take way too long to launch. Is this update just going to give me another year until Startup teams start to become unbearable again?

iPadOS 13: Took the microSD card out of my Nintendo Switch, quickly saved a Smash Bros video replay to my Photos library, edit it down to the right length, save it straight from Photos to an external hard drive that I have set up purely for video storage which was easily accessible in the Files picker from the share sheet. Also I could name the file in the save dialogue without having to save it first and then go back to rename it (can't believe that was a thing since iOS 11....)

im super curious how iPad OS will run on my old air 2, but wife is making me wait til official release which is fair enough. I just can't believe that old thing is gunna run iPad OS.
