That's great news! Even if it's only a brief difference, it'll be a big improvement over how it was on 11.Everything I've read has said that performance is much better than 11 on older phones.
I've been running the beta on an iPhone 6 and it's much smoother than iOS 11.
The MacStories review talks about running it on an iPhone 6 Plus here.
I mean it's probably about as long as all of the other reviews out there combined lol
No (because you shouldn't =)). You should be able to create a Siri shortcut to do it though, so there's your first idea for one :pCan I permanently turn off wifi and bluetooth from the control center in iOS 12?
It's ridiculous how much faster this runs than iOS11 on my 6s.
I don't feel any need to upgrade to a newer model besides improved camera's.
Curious to see if it'll help my ageing iPad mini 2.
The macstories review has a good little write up on 1passwords integration with ios12 and I can't god damn wait. Seems like they figured out a nice clever way to make 2FA easier than before too.
Sounds great. I hope I can download it soon.
It's scheduled to be ready to download and install roughly 7 minutes after this post.
Shouldn't be necessary but as with everything you can always find someone who will tell you to do it.
Workflow just changed to shortcuts in my app store!Been on the beta since day 1 but happy everyone gets this much needed update. And I await the flood of app updates. Cmon 1Password, daddy needs you.
Edit: Ooh, totally forgot about Siri shortcuts. Woo. Any idea when that is hitting?
I still don't see it in Canada.
If you already have Workflow installed you need to update the app and it changes from that to Shortcuts.
I just searched for 'Shortcuts' and found it - I was searching Siri Shortcuts and wasn't getting it. Thanks!
You'll get updates when everyone else gets them as your phone isn't on beta anymore.I received the GM and deleted the beta profile after.
Today the general ios12 released.
Will I be receiving future updates as normal or do I have to re-install the beta profile?
yes it is!You'll get updates when everyone else gets them as your phone isn't on beta anymore.
Is watchOS up?
