Very proud of the team for this :) So much great work that was done for this.
Oh I know, I was just surprised that designing a controller around accessibility like this is finally what pushed them towards its inclusion for once. Because honestly a controller like this really benefits from it too. It's likely a design choice made with accessibility in mind. I imagine it's much more sensible to offer a device with a built-in rechargeable battery in this case, rather than expecting someone with limited use of their hands to replace AA batteries. I prefer removable batteries, of course, but it makes sense for Microsoft to take this approach with a product like this. I wouldn't necessarily expect Microsoft to switch entirely to rechargeable batteries for all of its controllers going forward, though.
it's like a USB version of the Wii NunchukWhat is that one handed controller she is using two minutes in?
From the award articleI really hope Nintendo and Sony reach out to Microsoft about adapting their own versions based on this one.
> "I will never turn this into a Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft [competitive] thing," head of Xbox Phil Spencer said at the event. "Anybody, literally anybody who wants to learn from the work we've done here—or even try to do more than that with the work we've done here—I'm completely open to that. it doesn't have to have an Xbox logo on it. Let's just allow more people to play."
Wow this was really touching. The fact that microsoft is putting effort into allowing all kind of gamers to do what they love is just awe inspiring. Excellent job microsoft. Mad props and respect for this
Hopefully it will!Anyone know if this controller will allow you to simulate tapping a button over and over by just holding a button down? My brother's condition is getting worse and he can barely play A Way Out due to those tapping moments.

Absolutely fantastic job Microsoft!
You should definitely address the devs directly. Many recent games that have QTE's that require you to hammer a certain button (Uncharted, GoW) have accessibility settings where the tapping can be changed to just holding the button. Should be easy to patch in. - or maybe it isn't ... not a dev. But worth a shot!
