But how will the new controller be tracked by PSVR2? It doesn't seem to be built with any form of known accurate tracking methods in mind, AFAICS.
They sell an attachment if you want for the PS4 controller, it'll probably be compatible with this oneIm immensely disappointed by the lack of extra buttons. Games are getting complicated. Back buttons make FPS games immensely more convenient. An attachment needs to happen at launch, because I dont want to go back to using the face buttons in FPS games.
Also, I love the mute mic button, it's basically a useful push to talk button
Don't think we will know until we can hold itIt's too chunky for horizontal analog placement. The reason the Xbox controller can be chunky is because of the diagonal analog placement. It seems your hands will feel stretched.
The black trackpad looks amazing.
How does this look like an Xbox controller?Looks like an xbox controller, great job!
For real, great design!
It's probably chosen because of the six sensesI like its design, but the name was poorly chosen.
I mean, a quick search for "Dual Sense" in google shows even sex toys with the same name...
I've got lots of tubs, beds and weird mixtapes too, but a sex toy appeared out of nowhere too and i though it was kind of funny. Not for me, I get only tubs certified by Cerny itself:
maybe you get those thanks to your search history...
It makes you wonder right? I got some battery packsJust tried that, didn't show me even one single sex toy.
Dont know what you were looking before there.
I don't think going in a different direction visually is "fixing" anything. It's simply changes in the direction they are going with the new console. I like what this communicates visually. I'm getting something familiar but quite different from previous PlayStations.
Triggers on xbox one have their own vibration, plus traditional gamepad rumble.I have an Xbox One and didn't realize they had this same type of haptic feedback. I don't know the technology behind it. The rumble in Xbox One feels the same to me as any other rumble. And same for the rumble in the Switch controller, although maybe that is a bit more fine tuned. I dunno. Either way, I don't think improvements in rumble will be any type of game changer.
No way. That'd be way too expensive. This controller has to work with PSVR2.I am guessing that PSVR2 will simply have its own controller in the box, similarly to how it is with PCVR solutions.
Of course you're not sure what I'm on about. That's been clear from your posts.Once again what you say doesn't make sense. Having two sticks not in the same symmetrical position means one thumb is in a different position than the other. It's not possible for both thumbs to be in the most IDEAL positions if both sticks are asymmetrical. I'm not sure what you're on about but I'm glad Sony isn't changing their controller. You have options, so take them. People like myself will continue loving their controllers.
You're typing this on your phone probably right? A phone that has at least 2 cams and a microphone.I really don't like the built-in mic...
I might lookparanoïac. But we know that compagny lik Google use Alexa to listen to us.
And remember Kinect? They spied us too...
Pretty sure they made this built-in mic to spied on us mainly..
Secret sauce they can't talk about yet 🤫Why would they hide the fact that they added back buttons?
You'll have to wait for the Elite upgrade.
Sounded like they said it feels smaller than it looks so the actual distance might be pretty similar to the DS4.It's too chunky for horizontal analog placement. The reason the Xbox controller can be chunky is because of the diagonal analog placement. It seems your hands will feel stretched.
I think leaving the pad black would have been nice,
The more I look at it, the more fine I am with the white, I am sure it will look vastly different in person anyway.
Hmm...I'm just going to have to get my hands on it to see what kind of difference it makes. I'd be shocked if it were any type of game changer. Nintendo hyped up there new rumble as well and now I feel like it's barely used.Triggers on xbox one have their own vibration, plus traditional gamepad rumble.
DualSense has force feedback pushing up the triggers [the button can fight back against finger press], and a very fancy vibration on the analogue sticks [still waiting on the confirmation of sticks can also push back against the finger]. No traditional gamepad rumble.
The gradient really softens the contrast between the two colors. I like it.
PS1 Grey is sexy, I need it.
But if they want to have a VR solution that will be even remotely competitive they have to have something for both hands separately anyway. Do you think they will stick with the Move controllers? No way. That'd be way too expensive. This controller has to work with PSVR2.
Can you do an all white with black joy sticks, triggers, create buttons, and DPAD? Also keeping the colors buttons on the right?
Sure JanI really don't like it.
It's not ugly, but it reminds me all those cheap plastic third-parties/compatible controllers alternative to the original, I don't know.
I expected something more sleek/minimal and premium.
to... use it with the DS4? what?So wait up there's also no paddles to configure? Why did they release that PS4 adapter?
