I think because of his past actions. He had a Youtube account with more than 700k followers that he got deleted after growing increasingly erratic and then posting hentai porn videos on it. He said he was struggling with certain mental issues at that time, which is easy to believe considering he was one of the biggest Smash youtubers and got his account deleted right before Ultimate came out. Essentially setting an enormous pile of money on fire.
Also he is black, so his use of the n-word is obviously not the same as if a white youtuber said it. Although that doesn't excuse the anti-latino and anti-gay slurs.
The 'could be mentally ill' bullshit to justify racism, homophobia and bigotry is so fucking stupid.

I didn't say that what he did is excusable but rather his mental health makes things worse. I just wanted to suggest a solution for this guy since he is not in a stable state and also needs to understand the consequences of his actions.

Considering his last "mental breakdown" was just a publicity stunt gone bad, I hesitate to think that's the case.

They don't seem like statements or beliefs. I haven't watched him since the last event, but he's tweeting all kinds of nonsense bull shit right now. Those tweets seems more akin to a "tee hee" kind of tweet. Obviously those words are not OK to use, but the context here is just...too vague. It's like he thought of "top 10 words you're not supposed to say" and splurted them out. He did add "you" before some of them, but these don't seem targeted or like he's been holding back these beliefs for a long time. I don't know...Look I just think you shouldn't cherry pick those three tweets when there's a greater context of some WILD shit from the past 24 hours.

let's consider the possibility that his last mental breakdown wasn't just a publicity stunt and that what is going on behind the scenes is more embarrassing for him than lying and saying it was a publicity stunt. Just because we watch these people on Youtube or twitch, doesn't mean we know what's going on in their personal lives. Streamers lie when they're on stream, they have an image to maintain.
Spoony never did anything as bad as this (to the best of my recollection) but the blowups and the way his "fans" egg him on reminds me a lot of the post-halcyon days of TSE. I stand by my original post, that one of his friends or a family member needs to get him to log off because what he's doing is toxic.
