Illinois thankfully still while hot for the most part has been moderate or average. Was actually pretty chilly leaving work last night, I think it was 62 outside. High of 83 is pretty low for middle of July honestly. Next couple days i did see will hit 89/90 again.............not looking forward to it lol

I don't like the heat at all. But living in Chicago, I'd take 100 and humid any day over the negative shit we get in the winter.
I think its open. Some facilities and such might be closed but the park and lots are open

One of the best bang for your buck hikes too. Its fairly easy and the view is insane at the top (where theres a fire lookout)

South of France here, we're fairly used to that temp in the summer. Access to a swimming pool is a must though.
