Brooks doesn't do anything with Trek anymore. He doesn't hate Trek, he's just moved on with his life.
It would have been nice for him to come back for this though. The Sisko rocking the vote would be great.

But at least it was still Star Trek. The new stuff is Trek in name only.
Season 2 of Discovery was (mostly) excellent old series form Trek. Really looking forward to the Anson Mount series.
My boyfriend is vocal about his discomfort in voting for Biden. Deep Space 9 is his favorite Star Trek, so this news will only make his attitude towards Biden worse.
He doesn't have the lobes for it. No humility means his business ventures would crash and burn long before he reaches the Divine Treasury.

DS9 started quite slow and is very different to both TNG and Voyager, they made the shows different to attract different TV genre fans to the show. There's an overlap but not every fan likes every Star Trek show (Voyager tbh is a lot more polarising imo)
