I prefer 60 for sure, but don't find 30 unplayable at all. Being stable is the main thing for me.
I really wonder if this is even real, there's no way you can't see the difference.
well aren't you special
I've been playing Wave Race 64 quite a bit lately. The more I play it, the more I realize just how it might be one of my favorite racing games ever.
But it's a 20 FPS game. Somehow, I don't mind it, though. It feels fast and fluid as it is.
We're getting variable refresh rate support so it doesn't even have to be a locked 60 anymore.
I think developers should be forward thinking and include unlocked framerates options in console games next gen. There is nothing special about 30fps, especially not on a VRR display.Hmm, for those that have access to that, yea, you have a point but I would still stick where I'm at, I certainly don't have a TV that supports VRR. I obviously have no ideas what the figures are there for the average user but I wouldn't make that assumption when discussing generally. If you want to buy me a new TV though 😂
Doesn't matter to me as long as it's stable. A fluctuating framerate is worse

If next gen is as long as this one then I'm sure a lot of us will have new displays by the time it's over.
I'm in this camp as well; however, after moving to 1440p, I struggle going back to 1080p.
I am honestly having a Hard time remembering the last time I beat game that hovered around 30 fps constantly or was just half refresh 30.
Crysis?
Even the old console Stuff I have been playing always seemed target 60 now that I think about it.
It has been a while.
I experimentd with coming to Grips with 30 in 2015 but decided in the end it just was too janky looking for me even with the best per object blurs.
