Not even Silent Hills, all Geoff has to say is "you can download and play PT again." and 2020 will be redeemed.
Not sure if this was already known, but an email from Summer Games Fest just confirmed the stream will be an hour long, including an interview.
I just don't see a major next gen gameplay announcement happening before the Sony/Microsoft core conferences
Seems like a lot of people are hyping this up. None of the usual "managed your expectations" warnings, including from Geoff.

Also depends how long they're accounting for the interview. The Tony Hawk thing this morning was technically 15 minutes, but most of that was chatting with Hawk.
The term "showcase" is also wierd, and implies more footage than just a trailer.
I love MAFIA (1 to 3, I actually liked the 3), but I hope the MAFIA 2 remaster isn't the reveal tomorrow...

I'll raise youI said it another post somewhere else on here earlier, but I'm extremely surprised at how fast that announcement spread. I don't know if it's because everyone is stuck at home, but anecdotally I have quite a few friends who might only pick up CoD, Madden, or 2K each year and that's about as far as they go with games. They're some of the most excited about this! I even had a few people who probably haven't played any game in a decade post the trailer.
I think if it's as good as it's looking and they actually manage to do what no Tony Hawk game has done in the better part of a decade, it's going to be a huge success.
I feel like both of those would be reserved for a PS5 debut and that doesn't seem like something Sony would do with only 24 hours of build up

They already said they don't think the Silent Hill thing will be revealed before the PS5 reveal event, but they didn't know either way for sure.
No big exclusive Playstation 5 games are getting announced tomorrow.
I'm thinking this is separate from whatever Geoff is doing. What would be the point of debuting the same news across IGN and Keighley at the same exact time?
Yeah, there's no real reason for them to do that, though one of the two parties really need to clarify since it's obviously causing a lot of confusion
What if it's about the Summer Game Fest and IGN's Summer of Gaming fusing into a single event?
My personal guesses:
- Unreal Engine 5, perhaps being demoed by a first party developer who Geoff will be interviewing
- PS5 hardware tear-down, with demos from a PSS developer on how the hardware will affect software and game design
- Big acquisition announcement with new games featured
- Microsoft Lockhart announcement
