Why? If people weren't against RE4 VR in principle but this specific control scheme where you essentially wrangle a character from the Sims?
If I had the time this would be a great concept to try to create in Dreams.
I always wanted to do some VR stuff in Dreams but never really found the time…

It sounds terrible fora redo of an existing game for sure, but a new game made like that could be neat, it's a pretty fun idea but needs to be able to breathe on its own and not be compared to an existing experience.
No, it's just cringe to watch people pat themselves on the back for something that came from failing to read the OP.

I think we'd need to see it in action though. I'm sure someone could make it work. I just don't think it'd work for RE4 (like you say... "a redo of an existing game").
