This is the link for Philadelphia: https://pfc.covidreadi.com/

Not sure if it works for rest of PA (they ask for your zip and city).

*Edit* Pre-register by making a login and then going to "Pre-Commitment"
Nice!

EDIT: Hmmmmmm

I can't actually find anything confirming that this is real, though it has the logos on the site. I'd hold off on anybody using any .com links.

My wife came home from a couple of doctor appointments yesterday, and they mentioned that she should pre-register for the vaccine as soon as possible to get a spot in line. This is the first that any of us had heard about this, but now everyone in my house is Pre-Registered! Never thought I'd be pre-ordering a vaccine like I would a video game. For context, we're located in NJ.

If anyone has anything similar, I'll edit the OP and add the links you guys have for anything similar for other states!

Links:
Louisiana - https://ldh.la.gov/covidvaccine/ (Information only at this time)
New Jersey - https://covidvaccine.nj.gov/covid-19 vaccine/
New Mexico - https://cvvaccine.nmhealth.org/
New York - https://am-i-eligible.covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/ (In stages)
Oklahoma - https://vaccinate.oklahoma.gov/

I did this in NJ a couple of days ago and received an email the next day saying that I was part of phase 1-B .

waiting for approval to schedule.

I admit the site looks a little jank, but it is official. I saw it referenced in the weekly city COVID-19 updates and it's also linked to from The Inquirer and the Philly Voice newspapers (two of the most reputable papers in Philly).

Philly Voice article: https://www.phillyvoice.com/philly-covid-19-vaccine-signup-website-convention-center/

Inquirer article: https://www.inquirer.com/philly-tips/covid19-vaccine-register-alerts-pre-commit-20210108.html (might be paywalled)

Here's the front-end site for more information that is a little more professional looking: https://www.phillyfightingcovid.com/vaccine

I appreciate the skepticism! Hopefully this can clear any of it up.

If you are in the Lehigh Valley area of PA.
LVHN has a site set up. I guess they'll notify you when you're eligible some time after you complete the questionnaire.

If you're a vet you can sign into myhealth.va and let them know you want the vaccine. They'll contact you when they figure out you can get it

Stupid california is hoarding vaccines and not letting the average person get it asap.

Even though a 9/11 amount of bodies pile up daily and socal is the glowing sea of covid

Great leadership from Newsom 👍🏼

Frankly the oldest people should get it first along with frontline healthcare workers who are actually interacting with patients.

looking at PA's guidelines, for example, phase 1B allows people in what's essentially a healthcare desk job (that can be done 100% telework) to get the vaccine but my parents who are in their late 60's have to wait longer? That's complete bullshit.

I don't know if it's really an individual governors leadership so much as how more broadly guidelines are being implemented across the country.

In my state of Michigan it's all by individual counties.

This is Michigan.gov 's county map that links to each county's healthcare/Covid page.

I already preregistered several days ago after my mom found it, although it looks from their timeline chart that as someone who works for an essential business, I wouldn't be getting it until May or later.

I'm not sure if it's the same for other counties, but mine has registration by individuals as well as businesses, so I plan on checking with my management to see if they have or are planning to sign us up for the 100+ of us working there.

Huh, I had the thread on watch, didn't realize it was pinned up top.
Thanks to everyone contributing, Michigan information is added to OP.

Let us know how it goes!

It went well! The actual injection didn't hurt at all. They had me stay for about 15 minutes to monitor for any reactions, and there were none. 4 and a half hours later I feel fine, but my arm is pretty sore now.

Thanks for this thread, I had no idea this was an option!

COVID-19 Vaccination Program

COVID-19 vaccines offer the best protection against severe illness from COVID-19. Learn about eligibility for the vaccine and boosters, find a provider near you, read frequently asked questions and more.
It's county-by-county here in Ohio, each with a different board of health and a different set of forms and processes. It's kind of a mess right now to be honest, the only way to get information on a specific county's procedures is to look for news articles.

Nice! I'd say a sore arm is a pretty sweet trade. I'd take a punch in the arm over covid any day.

TX hasn't defined what Phase 2 is, nor when it starts. The only mention I can find is "Spring". Sigh.

Is there a site for Oregon I can keep F5'ing on for the foreseeable future? Didn't see on list of available now but figure there must be something out there.

This is the official GOV site for Oregon. It doesn't look like there is any type of pre-reg right now though. I'll add this to the list for information sake.
https://govstatus.egov.com/OR-OHA-COVID-19

EDIT: I know it's strange that it's a .com, but it was linked to from here: https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/PREVE...TIONPROVIDERRESOURCES/Pages/COVIDvaccine.aspx

UGH.

Got an email asking to confirm a time for an appointment to get my grandmother vaccinated, but the link they sent me doesn't work. it says it was used 'xx' number of times already

I think they sent the same link to everybody and it was supposed to be personalized...
Called and they're closed.

Available Preregistration would be awesome, but I wonder if someone just needs to start creating aggregated info for vaccine clinics. I got word from relatives that they were accepting everyone at a shot clinic at the Oregon state fairgrounds today, apparently they got nearly zero turnout since they had a large scale system set up and forgot to advertise it, so it got opened up to everyone. Drove an hour to Salem and got my first shot. The line has ballooned by the time I was out of there as word of mouth spread but they were getting tons of people vaccinated — they announced that 400 vaccinations/hr took place.

Pretty much every state has been getting shat on for not administering enough shots, and aside from places like NY where it's a literal fucking crime to not administer it properly I suspect we're going to get more and more clinics where they'll just take everyone. As far as Oregon is concerned if they get more vaccine stock the fairgrounds one will likely be open again next week, as well as whatever Kate Brown gets set up w/the national guard.

For anyone in Oregon that's curious heres Salem clinic's site for the shot clinic: https://www.salemhealth.org/covid-19/covid-vaccine

Can the thread title make a reference that this is for US users? I know the majority of users here stems from the US, but still.

Something is wrong with the Phila one. As a public transit worker I should automatically be in 1 B, no? It put me in 1C.
