In Canada, anything made on a BBQ is considered BBQ (hamburgers, hot dogs, skewers, etc). Our BBQs tend to be predominantly propane-fueled, with small amounts of people using natural gas (connected to their home line) or charcoal. Anything smoked is typically called "American BBQ" or "Southern BBQ."
Just an FYI to all our American friends here!
Lol!
I'm an immigrant living in a the states since 2001 and one of the biggest cultural shocks was to see those plain ass BBQs American families make.
I'm sorry but those sorry asses hamburger patties are cringe worthy! What that hell? It's like 98% of American families defines BBQ as having some small as hell hamburger meats and hot dogs.
In Latino America we call BBQ "parilla" and this is what it is
I had to do it since I saw a friend posting his lame ass BBQ(hamburger patties) on IG.
Are you bashing Central Texas BBQ, Dallas?
Just kidding, I know you guys have awesome BBQ.
As a Canadian (north Ontario), I've never seen this. We have grills in Canada and we grill burgers and hot dogs.
No, I'm saying slop is generally not very dry. Referring to the trash he posted as 'slop' is pretty insulting to slop in general.
Looks like a hipster from 2007 would ask me to pay him $150 dollars to eat this.

Well the propane BBQs still have grills, the heat is simply fueled by propane.
I want to bite that sausage so bad.

And then gobble up the meat.
Those SF prices are insane. Press that 'HELP" button.
you realize you tried to start a fight with era about food, rightLol at the people calling my shit out probably waiting in line for a Big Mac.
Indeed. For example, the hash brown is ~$1.00 in Metro Detroit.
You dont need to be a food snob to recognize a plate of poorly cooked trash.you realize you tried to start a fight with era about food, right
there is an alarming underbelly of food snobs on era, you've made a terrible mistake
Image fixed for real now.
This was some late minute shit. Why are you comparing my food with restaurants?
snobs was the wrong wordYou dont need to be a food snob to recognize a plate of poorly cooked trash.
I know, that's why they're called grills. That's how it works in America too.
What I meant was, I've rarely seen anyone in northern Ontario refer to it as a BBQ instead of a grill.
Lol yep
