Hello all,
I'll make this short and sweet.
I've been on this forum since it opened. Since then this has been my go-to place when I'm down or depressed. This site has had it's ups and downs and of course a few unpleasant individuals. At it's core I love this site. I love the interaction and the various of threads and how it's all in one spot. I can talk about my favourite games and movies or talk about life situations and people listen. I had a rough year last year, my parents going through divorce and living at my grandparents (still do) and dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts but honestly this site helped me a lot on those rough days. I love this site and hope it stays around for a long long time. I like reddit but something about this place feels like a community!

Sometimes this place feels like the last bastion of a forum community. It's beautiful and I love it, even though I don't post much. Y'all are great.

I'm glad the forum has helped you this way. I know personally it really helped me distract myself from some terrible stuff it happened in these years.

Honestly this site and the former site pre showergate kept me occupied as well. Life has been shitty (for lack of a better term) for several years but I can always count on this place either cracking me up, informing me or cheering me up thanks to some peeps I've met*.
