I just notice that these three iconic TV characters died within one month of each other in 2001

Prue Halliwell, oldest sister of The Charmed Ones died on May 17th.

Buffy Summers dies less than one week later on May 22nd.

And if that wasn't enough, the inspiration for both shows ends with the protagonist Xena dying and choosing not to be revived on June 18th.

I was too young to remember reacting to all that, but I had to wonder how people reacted to that insanity.

Hmm I was a fan of Buffy and Xena growing up in 90/00s, never watched them in sequence or anything and today I found they both died in their shows.

Anecdotally, in Scotland anyway, nobody gave a shit.
