Not really a fan, myself. Women are still attractive with bangs, but I just prefer longer hair.
The eyes look more off than anything (probably due to the makeup).

I feel like bangs is one of those thing you have to commit to. Half length bangs look creepy and weird.

Are these even bangs? It looks like an inverted bob to me. Usually with bangs the hair is shorter on the forehead, giving that characteristic look. With an inverted bob the hair is not only way longer in the front than bangs (reaching cheeks) but it is actually even longer than the hair on the back of the head
Bangs can look absolutely fantastic! But hair thickness, and a good cut adds a lot to them.
And dry shampoo is your friend.

Chun Li has bangs, that's not just a part.
They aren't literally sheared straight Mushroom like Sia and many of the other photos in the thread. That's a style not the cover your eyebrows hidden forehead completely straight variety I'm referring to.

OP speaks the truth. There are few, if any, women I prefer with bangs. Shit takes forever to grow back! Longer hair is definitely my preference.
That's a wig though, right? No less egregious, but I couldn't help but think that was just some studio wig the whole movie. They also look horrible 95% of the time and there's a reason you don't see a lot of people doing it. Mostly have only ever seen it on small children and hipsters. Can't recall seeing them on people in the work place over the past many years.

I don't like them either. Almost everyone I know that's gotten them talked about how it was a rash decision they knew was going to be a bad idea but did it anyway, and immediately regretted. Seems like a thing some people do when they're anxious to change up their look and don't have any ideas- or better yet, consult with a stylist or something.
I think some people can be good looking *despite* their bangs, but my personal taste is that it's never *because* of their bangs. To each their own though.
