She looks like she could be Zach Braff's sister in that sans-bangs photo. It's just so strange how much of a difference it really makes.

When a game has a character creator, I consider all hair options with no bangs to not be real options and immediately remove them from my memory bank.
I never really think about bangs, and think the hatred towards them is overblown and more meme-ish than anything.
Can't see even a speck of their eyebrows. Definitely something wrong with that hair.

Do they have an explanation for how she cuts her hair? I recall Silver-Age Superman using heat vision.
I think it depends on the person. My wife went through a phase in college with bangs and I hated it because she was basically covering half of her face. She looks so much better now without it.
