Yup, Ueda confirmed it in an interview! I believe the PS2 game erroneously refers to her by the wrong gender, so you aren't to blame. The Bluepoint remake fixed this.
It can, but you can spend a vial to immediately summon it again.

Torrent feels amazing to control, and not just because of the double jump.
People who liked agro are the same people that liked yorda or trico. The fact that they are sometimes a nuisance makes them seem more like a thing with a mind of its own and more endearing in a way. e.g. real pets/children/etc are at times frustrating and yet we still love em.People really liked Agro? Every time I actually needed them they were always on the opposite side of the battlefield. Annoyed me the entire game.
And on top of that, I'm Spanish so I'm used to names ending in -o being male and ones ending in -a being female. :DYup, Ueda confirmed it in an interview! I believe the PS2 game erroneously refers to her by the wrong gender, so you aren't to blame. The Bluepoint remake fixed this.

Imagine if you could do a sidequest in Botw2 where some random people let you keep the weird animals.
