It kinda makes for a good theme to the trilogy.
AoC is watching a thriving world be destroyed.
BotW is a dying world struggling to survive.
I imagine BotW2 will be about rebuilding.
The trailer did look a little choppy with the champions preforming their big flashy moves, but the game play today looks solid. So probably just an older build for the story trailer.
Just buy it in a year when it rereleases as a complete edition with all the DLC.
I don't see whats wrong with the english dub. Revali and Urbosa always sounded great too me. The only ones I was iffy about before were Mipha, Daruk, and some of Zelda's. And in this trailer Mipha and Daruk sounded a bit better.
You could say the same of Miles and Cyberpunk. At least with a Nintendo game you know it won't be $20 in a few months.

13:10 is pretty cool. Gameplay looks good.
Daruk is the only one who sounded worse to me--it sounds as if a different voice actor's voicing him, or that same voice actor's not doing as deep a voice.
Still sounds like how I think a goron should sound, though. I'm satisfied by the English voice acting so far. Not every line can be a winner.
I had to watch the trailer on mute. But are musou games considered good now, or was HW better than the usual ones? I'm not trying to be hating, I'm genuinely curious. I've never played them because they look like button mashing nonsense. I could understand that being decently fun though.
they never do this. you can count the times nintendo has done this on one hand with several fingers left over.
Thats exactly why I won't buy Cyberpunk at launch. Made that mistake with TW3. Now I bought the season pass but never played Blood & Wine because I couldn't go back to it.
And I doubt Miles will drop quickly in price due to it being a launch game. Those usually don't drop as fast.
You couldn't button mash your way through the first HW. You have to think about which strongholds and outposts to take, when to advance and when to fall back, when to rescue or escort or reinforce or intercept, the objectives being dynamic and ever-changing. In HW1's Adventure Mode the missions could last a half-hour but you would wipe out quickly if you weren't constantly planning three steps ahead.

Younger Impa and Paya don't look *exactly* the same, but they do look *very* similar. Maybe that's why Paya is Impa's chamberlain, she reminds her of her younger self.
Yeah I'm in the super minority that doesn't hate the english dub. They all sound better here!

Damn....yeah it was. If I am able to play this with Japanese audio with English subs I just might. That gameplay vid looks good as hell too. The only musou game I've really ever sunk any time into was Ninety Nine Nights on the 360...and it almost/did red ring my system. I don't know if it pushed it too hard and caused it to get hot, melting the solder or if it was coincidence; but I immediately had issues after playing it. That Impa gameplay reminds me the most of that game and I am absolutely okay with it. I need to play the other Hyrule Warriors game too.
Not gonna lie, for a while I tought they would reuse some Impa moveset from the first HW replacing her Biggoron Sword with The Edge of Duality or the Sheikah Spear but I love they basically went full ON with the Ninja aesthethic instead of the Samurai one

Her moves resemble those of the final boss fight from the BotW Champion's Ballad DLC, Maz Koshia =) . Really happy about that. Some frame drops during action scenes, but yeah I'm looking forward to playing as the Champions. Hopefully you play as Link in fewer instances the Champions like Urbisa and Revali.

I can understand where he is coming from if he only watched the trailers for HW1. Having never played a musou game before they gave the impression that the gameplay consisted of little more than murdering dozens of bokoblins at a time, which would be pretty boring. It took watching someone playing the first adventure map (back when that was the only one available) to get a grip on what the gameplay was like. 30 minutes is a bit excessive, I would say 15 just because of the time requirements for an A rank.
For those not familiar with the series, the weak guys without a health bar are basically walking special meter charges. Murder them for either your KO requirement for rank or if you need more special. Or to reveal a keep boss in Hyrule Warriors case.
