This reminds me of the NYT when they hired a a Nazi sympathizer, and it was actually a big position. I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt as most employers don't really look into the personal lives of the people they hire. But god damn this lady is a monster.

Even if you can somehow look pass the egregious racist tweets. hiring HER as your social media editor seems to have been a bad choice...
People can sue and win if a company to punishes an employee, even a potential new hire based on content they post online. It's doubly so if her accounts were set to private which it's likely they were considering the racist shit she was spewing.
I'm assuming after, as she references Jussie Smollett and the article states she was hired earlier this month.
Who knows if she posted more previously, though. That kind of racism doesn't just suddenly come out of nowhere. I wouldn't be surprised if she had questionably shit prior to this.

Came here to ask the exact same thing. Wouldn't you want to see all the profiles of the person you're hiring to see how well they actually do social media?
In addition to the absolutely disgusting racism, she rants about someone needing to get a career "and no, sitting on Instagram isn't one" -> is (well... was...) a social media editor herself (I imagine sitting on Instagram/Twitter/SoMe is a pretty big part of her job...?)

Yeah count me in on the list of people astounded that she could be hired as a social media manager without having her own social media posts vetted. This is textbook due diligence and I'd be suspect as hell of her hiring manager.
She even had her employer in her bio, at least on Twitter. Can't see Instagram. She has gone into hiding, which is good. People like this deserve to feel alone and helpless.
