I mean... most of the things people ooo and ahhh over on those Minecraft raytracing videos are all of the other mods BESIDES the raytracing. I think most people just don't even realize the game is full of beautifying mods.
That said OP, that's not how raytracing works.
Not to downplay the raytracing mod... but it's mostly just indirect lighting which is cool. Ray tracing is just a better approximation for indirect and reflections versus what we mostly already have. It's cool, but it's subtle stuff for the most part.

It's not just a matter of engine, most of those porn games are made on a tiny budget with a handful of people working on them. Now compare that to your average AA (not even AAA) title.
Well not games per say, but just 3D videos. I've seen some of those floating around usually as ads that I don't click on. I think if Vivid entertainment or Brazzers took a stab at it, they could make something actually worth talking about.
I didn't even think about that... well not porn games.. but there's this great looking VR Stripclub game/experience on Steam. Looks realistic...animations look good...and eyes are not creepy. Actually sometimes they look at you as they are walking by...it's a trip.

I'm surprised and honestly quite delighted this thread hasn't been closed yet. Mods seem to have a strong dislike for even discussion about sexuality and media that is sexual at all in nature. You'd think nobody here even knows what pornography is.
I've always felt internet forum clamp-downs on porn discussion to have a slight whiff of swerfiness. Sure, the outward reason is people surfing at work and kids browsing, but that aftertaste lingers.
If you're talking about CG porn, well, ray tracing isn't new. Real time ray tracing just makes things faster to render.
