yeah i figured, its a tv-y7 show but still the way its framed at firstIt's real but the reason they take out their belts is actually to use them as weapons lol
Thread really not doing the obvious one, eh? Fine, I'll do it myself then.
That episode has legit horror movie shit in it.Three pages and no mention of the most demented episodes of Punky Brewster? For shame. This two-parter was deeply unsettling and had Punky battling skeletons, creepy ghosts, and a giant freaking spider.
Watch it for yourself here.
This was what I was thinking about when I saw the thread. Unlike many of the examples here, Hilda's a show with a cute, soft, and innocent style, with little edge or innuendo. It's very much an unabashed children's show, albeit one that is respectful with the audience.Hilda season 2 has had some crazy shit.

That reminds me, I made this thread a while back, and it probably qualifies.

Anyway, in that thread someone posted this nightmare fuel of a show, which qualifies even more.
I remember seeing that film on TV when I was a kid. That GIF is very very much only the beginning.
It's a children's film about the stories of Mark Twain. That segment is an adaptation of his story The Mysterious Stranger.but it's a children's film? Or is it supposed to be educational or just show some shock footage?
I figured I'd post the most gratuitous part but yeah it's something.I remember seeing that film on TV when I was a kid. That GIF is very very much only the beginning.
Gee, why would they just spend the most time on Wonder Woman getting faceblasted with that sticky liquid.
It's likely a reference to South Park, but imagine my surprise when my son was recently watching this series again and I overheard this little gem.
If I remember correctly, they're both students and he was supposed to be helping her study, but she was trying to convince him to do her homework for her.Watching this again for the first time in awhile... what the hell was the context for it?
Almost every episode of Totally Spies is some kind of fetish fuel.Hoolee shit

This seems better in context. I think a lot of kids see comically large features as funny (there's the german women stock character with comically large breasts and a profound accent in a lot of kids works) and she's transforming. I don't think its all that sexual because kids know what breasts are and don't really view them that way until puberty.
If fact most of these seem fine... kids aren't gonna understand if their not old enough and a lot of times the jokes are explicitly for parents who watch with their kids. Most of these characters are also around the age when they'd start making blue jokes like these with their friends.
but it's a children's film? Or is it supposed to be educational or just show some shock footage?
Oh I think their funny threads and enjoy them. I just was saying I'm not a prude. I'm not against them.saying "these jokes /situations aren't for the kids they wouldnt get it" means you completely missed the point of the thread tho :P
Because it's not an episode. It was a joke video the production staff/cast made that didn't see the light of day until decades later.
Haha ok phew if something like that was released today, the Ofcom complaints would be in the thousands haha!Because it's not an episode. It was a joke video the production staff/cast made that didn't see the light of day until decades later.
You might not be in the right demographic range to realize why it's such a, uhm. This seems better in context. Well well well. That is certainly something. The scenes probably aren't in the same episode, am I right? Please?
Not sure. They get tied up, hung upside down and/or sprayed with "goop" in a lot of episodesWell well well. That is certainly something. The scenes probably aren't in the same episode, am I right? Please?
Totally Spies is fine. It was a guilty pleasure when I was a kid but I've seen a couple of episodes as an adult and the humor actually holds up better than expected. It is a shameless Charlie's Angels parody which is pretty cool. Was Totally Spies actually a good show? The only time I see it come up is in the context of "edgy kids shows"
