In Massachusetts, no central air, ~1500sq foot house, 2 people + baby. Average monthly bill for the last 20 months is $112/mo. Yearly lows are in the $60s-$70s, yearly highs $160 during the summer.
Mine used to be lower, with the baby we run the AC in the summer more often than we used to and in the winter we'll often have a space heater run for an hour or so in select rooms. We have gas heat in the house, but the finished basement (~600sq ft) and bathroom have electric heat.
When I was single I used to get it down to like $25/mo in the winter, and it'd top out at about $100/mo during the summer because of AC. And probably because utilities were cheaper during the recession/aftermath.
Our gas heating bill over the last 24 months afterages $80/mo, with lows during the summer of about $20-$30/mo, and highs in the winter of about $180-$220 depending on the month. January and February are our most heat intensive months. Likewise, I used to have it less, 2 winters ago it didn't top $175, but this winter we broke $200 twice.
