I bought one of the first games on it that I can't even remember (I think it was called Ashen?) out of sheer curiosity. I think that was about $20.

That was pretty much it and I haven't really even touched it since. To be fair though I've also barely touched Steam or PC gaming in general.

100s of £££. Same as on the other stores. I got them all installed including subs for ubi, game pass and ea.
I buy the game i want where I get it the cheapest and get freebies across them as a bonus.

I bought Squadrons at launch with a coupon; that's it.

That game hooking into Origin when the Steam version doesn't is bullshit. It's my last purchase.

I voted for <$100 in the poll but when I wrote down the list it's definitely more than that. More than I remembered, I guess. At least $200?

Hades
Anno 1800
Mechwarrior 5
Observation
Ancestors
Journey to the Savage Planet
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw
Satisfactory
Subnautica: Below Zero

I grab the freebies sometimes when I open it up for Unreal Engine-related stuff just to have them, but haven't spent any money there.

I don't hate it or anything but on a typical day I forget I have it installed to be honest, not many reasons for me to use it.

I've bought several games that were on sale, but the only games I have paid full price for were Tetris Effect, Hades (Early Access version), and The Outer Wilds
As far as non-steam storefronts go, it's light years ahead of Origin and in a different universe from the Microsoft Store, if nothing else

$0 as of now, but I'm not totally against buying something if its a stupid deal. Everything being on my PC is all that matters. Launchers be damned.

0 and I don't plan to change that.

I end up getting to most games late anyway, so by then they're on Steam.

hehe, was a bit like that for me as well. I looked at the full list of transactions and was surprised by how many it was. normally just use gog galaxy to launch all games anyway, so the other platforms are just undetectable background noise when I'm playing the games. the sales have been pretty good and the local currency here makes it come out really well compared to steam, and the coupons are good.

I bought Control and Hitman 3. I used store credit to get a $10 discount on Bugsnax.

I'm honestly not that bothered by Epic Game Store releases, other than issues like the Hitman 2 stuff not carrying over, but they're presumably working on that after being pressured.

I haven't spent anything yet and the only free game I have installed and played is a couple hours of Civ VI. It doesn't really have anything to do with Epic though as I have only spent $12 CDN on Steam during that time.

I spend more time playing on console or playing mmo's on PC that don't require Steam/EGS.

I am accepting to be oppressed by this evil store to the amount of ... more than 200$.

The horror of having to download it, and buy games on it sometimes is really getting to me. But my trauma is not as bad any more.

Nothing. I only have the freebies, but I did seriously consider buying something in the last sale, due to the coupons and if something major I really want should ever be exclusive to the store, I'd probably still get it after some years of exclusivity.

I've bought around $160-170ish worth of games from EGS, all heavily discounted with their $10 coupon. A number of indie titles that cost almost nothing with the $10 off coupon plus Control + 1st DLC, Hades, Outer Wilds, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Star Wars Squadrons for $15, Tetris, etc. The only non-exclusive I ever bought was Star Wars since it was like $7 cheaper than the Steam price. As for the exclusives, I never paid anywhere close to the original retail price aside from Mafia where I at least still got $10 off via coupon. So I guess they have gotten me to spend a decent amount of money there, but never near the $60 initial asking price for games.

Not a dime, and that won't change any time soon. I don't even have it installed.

I spend some on Fortnite very rarely but if we're talking actual store games. $0 and I haven't taken any of the freebies.

Valhalla in the last sale + Rebel Galaxy Outlaw. Not a lot. But I'll probably get at least the first KH game/pack which seems like it'll last me about 10 years considering what's on it. And if FF7R is EGS exclusive, that too.

Unsure, but maybe between $70-$100. Don't remember the value sales and whatnot. The games I've bought are: Disco Elysium, Manifold Garden, Ancestor: The Humankind Odyssey, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and Hades

The only thing I've bought on the Epic store is Far Cry New Dawn (on sale + a coupon) and that was because you also get on uplay if you buy it there. Other than that just the freebies. It's just too bare bones when it comes to features, I mean it doesn't really have any features at all except "you can buy stuff one transaction at a time" really. And I don't feel secure that it will be around for a long time unlike Steam.

$0 and I don't intend to grab freebies either, so I'm abstaining from the poll because none of the options really cover my position (which unfortunately skews the results away from the true amount of people spending $0, but oh well).

I just got the freebies at first, then realized I wasn't even playing them because I rarely open any client that isn't steam. So I've stopped even getting free games. I won't buy third party games on EGS but I would get first party exclusives that look good, the same way I buy Ubisoft games on Uplay and used to get EA games on Origin.
