0. I don't sign up for pointless shit and mark as spam anybody I don't want to hear from again. I clear my emails out every day.

0 personal and 0 at work.
Personal, I get only about 20 a day so it's not hard to read through each.
At work, I get about 100-150 a day and file them in whichever folder they go into, then use a category system for ones I need to follow up with.

I can't stand having that bold ([number]) next to Inbox.

I have one email in my inbox currently, which is for reward credit at a store that I'll delete after using. I keep my shit clean.

I don't even know how to begin to answer that question so I'll just say "I don't wanna talk about it"

I follow the rule that if something is in my inbox, it needs to be actioned. Helps me stay sane and organized.

You fucking monsters.

Just archive everything right now and start enjoying the glory that is the inbox zero lifestyle.

YOU CAN STILL SEARCH FOR ARCHIVED EMAILS YOU MONSTERS.

About 1500. I don't use email for work. I only use it because it's a necessity. Most of it is unnecessary stuff I don't bother looking at all the time.

I regularly mark all emails in my inbox as read. So the number of actually "unread" emails is off from the real number.

I stopped deleting emails in my yahoo account several years ago because it was a pain in the ass.

5,020.

I'm actually learning about the archiving subject at the moment, dealing with multiple versions of Outlook (2007, 2010, the latest) and trying to work back with .PSTs instead of .OSTs which I've been warned are bit of a step backward.

What's a typical accepted size for an inbox before archiving? What's a nice and easy 'philosophy' for that? Month by month/year by year?

So yeah, right in my wheelhouse at the moment.

None. Most of mine are spam or automated emails.

When I see screenshots with a large number of unread emails, I wonder what sort of exotic life that person is living.
