They were too horny for Legends, all their Return to Origins stages got axed.
Now maybe that's because it would be odd to have the new power obtaining segments in the sequel game's side content, or maybe the levels of thiccness were just too high.

I don't remember these designs. Maybe I should replay Rayman Origins. In all seriousness, I don't want to think about how horny Ubisoft is. Considering they take it to a destructive and abusive level.

I don't really know the ethical line on horny art I'm going to be honest. There are great arguments for keeping designs tasteful and not objectifying. But there is also a progressive push for more horny art in young artists on twitter, to feel to express that side of the artist. I'm not sure where I land with it
Given what happens within Ubisoft and how they continue to get away with it, we really shouldn't.
In Asterix, this level of sexiness is usually the exception, not the rule, and it is mainly used to show how degenerated the Romans are compared to the Gauls.
It's all fun and games but yeah, France is pretty fucking gross at times. Sleazy old boy mentality reigns supreme.

She was only in the end of the difficult postgame stage in Origins. In the Jungle Run mobile game she appears in some unlockable bits of art but then never shows up in the games again

Pretty tame considering. I mean French television basically has soft core porn on it, so this is piss in the wind.
This original design is great, and I definitely like it better. And while it never exactly bothered me, I do agree: the Origins design is a bit... much.
What might also play into this, is that I just find the visuals of the original much nicer in general. This game's artstyle holds up ridiculously well.
The pixel art, the colours, the shiny particle effects, the backgrounds... All of it is so pleasant to look at.
Not to undersell any of the immense talent and passion that went into Origins (it's an amazing game in its own right), but the flash-like visuals just don't appeal to me as much.

lol didn't SFV have gravity-defying boobs on the character select. I think Capcom was claiming it was just a bug but I believe that is still there to this day.

True but it affects everything, like chains, hair, etc. (it looks absolutely terrible, tons of clipping, and that's on top of Ken's face, Juri's WTFtastic pose, Chun's schoolgirl skirt apparently being made of stainless steel, etc.)
