Is AMD bringing anything to the table? If not why are they partnering with them.

I was being sarcastic. This is a very basic port it seems and current hardware should be performing better. That's not how "future-proofing" works, at least in this case. HZD PC port doesn't offer any new technology and only few visual improvements compared to the PS4 version.

An AMD sponsorship is seriously the kiss of death for PC games these days.No DLSS 2.0? Seriously what? After DS having it and it being on the same engine this has to be a money hat move by AMD. This went from pre-order to buy on sale.
This is some really, really bad performance god damnHorizon Zero Dawn PC - Die ultimative Version des bildhübschen Hardware-Fressers [Update]

oofI've re-run all my tests and save files with the day-one patch, and...... yeah, it's not great.
Horizon Zero Dawn on PC: Not the optimized port we were hoping for
How many of our issues will be ironed out by Friday's launch on Steam?arstechnica.com

DLSS really shouldn't be abused as a shortcut to decent performance. Probably one reason why Nvidia is currently restricting access to it and actively helps with implementation. It's also likely they want the "this great performing game can be played at 4k60 on an entry level card thanks to DLSS!" and not the "your 1200+ card can now run this game at 1080p60 with dips - exclusively with DLSS" coverage haha 😢This is some really, really bad performance god damn
Knowing that DLSS would double some of these hurts
It is disappointing the PS4 Pro version has a solid CB solution & we can't use DLSS, despite the engine supporting it very well.An AMD sponsorship is seriously the kiss of death for PC games these days.
Where is that from?
what a disappointment, really... seems as demanding as rdr2 with considerably less to show for it.
I agree. It shouldn't have to be used in games it shouldn't inherently be needed in, such as this one.DLSS really shouldn't be abused as a shortcut to decent performance. No I get way better frames in RDR2 than I'd get in HZD if these benchmarks are anything to go bywhat a disappointment, really... seems as demanding as rdr2 with considerably less to show for it.
