I'm debating it. I love the original game a lot.
So how many of y'all double dipping? I feel bad double dipping and probably the only games I did it for was Destiny and Overwatch for PC. Which made sense given their nature. But this is mighty tempting. Just to see the game "unleashed"
This was also notated in the patch notes as something they are looking into. I didn't have it but some didLooks really nice. In the videos I watched I did notice an occasional hitch. Hopefully that can be ironed out.
Maybe it was addressed in them, but I don't have audio rn D;
The game on standard and lower difficulties actually does offer a bit of homing with arrows on to weakpoints. The highest difficultly removed that though.I dropped the game way back then because I couldn't stand the input lag + no aim assist to hit the weakpoints. Its going to feel so much better at 100+ fps and mouse aim. Can't wait to give it another go.
In the steam forums when someone asked about FoV, a Guerrila dev chimed in and replied that FoV would not give you the intended experience that the developers wanted to give to customers but due to high demand, they caved in. So, if a lot of peeps don't demand it iam not sure if they'll add it on PS5.Look at that, a playable FoV. Bring this version to PS5, please.

Good to know, I don't remember which difficulty I tried but I guess I should have played on normalThe game on standard and lower difficulties actually does offer a bit of homing with arrows on to weakpoints. The highest difficultly removed that though.
Who can it be standard when that tech is not easily available to every dev? Devs needs to closely work with nvidia to get it, and not everyone can do so.Good that Gamersyde criticizes no DLSS support. Should be supported by standard on every new release now.
Do you think its a conspiracy and Sony just doesn't want their checkerboard rendering technique to look weak next to DLSSThe DLSS thing is weird since Death Stranding also had some AMD promotional stuff. Or just to make sure is the HZD stuff CPU stuff or is it GPU.
GPU wise DS had Nvidia and they also did AMD CPU stuff.
I definitely can't wait to play through this again, one of my favorite games of this gen.
I do think people shouldn't complain about the lack of DLSS, it's locked to one vendor which means it will never be standard on all games.

I am doing a video - yeah. It is still not done.
not even on the "original" graphics preset tooWow, so 4K/60 isn't possible on a high end rig. That's disappointing.

Guess I'll play it on the 1440p ultrawide in the office, rather than on the 4K TV in the living room.
Yep. No DLSS is a bummer.Too bad there isn't a feature that improves framerate while simultaneously enhancing the image quality on PC so we could reach those numbers...
Excellent! Can't wait!
That can't be right.
Given the benchmarks, the lack of DLSS makes me furious. Let's hope they patch it in past launch...

Every game would greatly benefit from DLSSHopefully they cave to demands for DLSS, because it sounds like the game would greatly benefit.
I'm surprised COD didn't decide to add it yet either.
Hopefully the complaints push AMD towards a DirectML equivalent because deep learning upscaling is clearly a smarter use of hardware resources.I definitely can't wait to play through this again, one of my favorite games of this gen.

And that bug is...? 4K performance seems to be in line with what you would expect based on 1440p and 1080p numbers (computerbase article). Not sure what patch is going to do for 4K specifically here, make it perform at same framerate as 1080p? Not happening. The ACG review said there was a known bug with the 4k performance (doesnt affect lower resolutions)

If a 2080ti is barely cutting it at 4K for HZD then next gen is going to be rough.
German site Computerbase has Benchmarks. Doesn't seem well optimized. 2080 Ti can't run native 4K/60 at Original (!) settings.

I'm voting with my wallet here. I want more Sony exclusives on PC! Double dipping even though I don't have a dedicated gaming PC right now lolSo how many of y'all double dipping? Edit: lol didn't realize the double dipper sentiment was already strong in this thread. We going in????
