Yes, it can travel that far. But you're not likely to infect someone that far from you. 20 feet is on the extreme end of how far it can go (and I actually think they were closer than 20 feet....maybe 15?)

I'm actually really surprised he doesn't have a result yet, I thought the White House had the rapid covid tests ala the NBA? Was I wrong?

I would have thought they would use the rapid tests. Unless they did and that came back negative but they want to check to make sure with the regular ones too.

Correct. If he's quarantining and they haven't already said he's negative then he absolutely has COVID. This is the White House they have tons of rapid tests and the other tests also so they definitely know.
