Yep – open up Hitman 1 and you should see the option to redeem the Legacy pack. Download that and you'll be set to claim the access pass for Hitman 1 GOTY via Hitman 3. Nothing extra needed for Hitman 2's access pack, just that you own whatever version of Hitman 2 you're trying to get the pack for.

My only question is where this alleged Hitman 2 pass is. It's not in the in-game store that I could see. I already grabbed the Legacy Pass for the first game.
The pass won't go live until the game is live (or the associated storefront is updated)

The access passes are new and will presumably go up with the launch of the game. The legacy pass isn't the same as the access pass, it's just what allows you to download it for free on consoles.
hmmm when i open up view game content on manage storage for ps5 on hitman 1 under all legacy content it says "Shared w Hitman 2" so i was under the impression if you delete 1 it'll delete the legacy stuff tied to it. You still have access thru solely 2?
It *should* be on the Hitman 3 in-game store (and the console store and web store) according to the FAQ just by you owning the content on Hitman 2
As I understand it's the license that's important, not what you have installed. You have a Legacy Pack redeemed and downloaded so you own a Legacy pack according the PSN. This will make the Hitman 1 Access Pass free when you launch Hitman 3 tomorrow.
happened to plenty of people, you get both versions with your purchase and you accidentally downloaded the PS4 version
You don't need 1 installed to play the content in 2, just have to have downloaded the 30GB legacy pack.
I'm guessing here but if it's like the previous games, you can still play the missions in offline mode. There just won't be unlocks or challenges to get so no saved progress.

Hitman 1 was on Gamepass in 2018, did you play it there? It would explain why there is a price tag now.
Seems possible. It was the complete first season, so you could've activated the legacy pass then.
Trophy lists are separate, no word on save sync or trophy auto pop yet
