That's partly because 1994 is a 9/10 album, but still.

i don't know what's more surprising to me; that a group as seminal as De La Soul are still getting dicked around by Tommy Boy after like three decades, or that Tommy Boy still somehow exists at all.

fwiw they're one group you should feel no guilt over pirating. the group themselves released their entire discography for free a while back - not new rips or anything, literally just collection of their albums sourced from torrent sites. they didn't even bother taking out the demonoid.txt files from some of them lol

Really like the new 2 Chainz. I've never really listened to him before. The album is solid+.

The new Solange is good. Not as good as Place at the Table but the stretch of tracks with Earl, Tyler and Carti is actually the best part of the album.

What else dropped today worth the listen?

Welp, got fucked by resale for Tame Impala but I doubt I'll see a Coachella headliner play in a venue as "small" ever.

Yeah, it was sold out right when I entered the "room" at 12:00 sharp lmao. Guess Hollywood Forever Cemetery will be the smallest venue I will ever see them in. Probably play The Forum+ from now on.
