He's certainly a beefcake, but at least in Ys Seven, where he has the most dialogue so far (I haven't yet played Celceta or Ys VIII), he seemed smart enough. He's a stranger in a strange country, but he's often the voice of caution.

In the first games his defining character trait is basically being the kool-aid man
after that though yeah, he's not toooo dumb.

After finishing Yakuza 4, I'd say the entire cast of heroes in that game. Kiryu, Saejima, Akiyama and Tanimura. The end is a sight to behold, where everyone's brains just blow up and they become complete idiots. Its a miracle they lived to see Yakuza 5!

Kano is in his 50s but I'm not sure I agree himbos are necessarily young, all respect to the OP. I mean, at any rate, he's in a relationship with his decades younger time-displaced self, but that self is not as hot. (worse hair) Himbos both imo
