Hi from Texas

What should I do? Near El Paso. Is there a Rio Grande rafting adventure? Ok. Ok...I'm not in Texas. I'm talking about the band Texas(who aren't even from Texas but rather Scotland) and their latest effort Hi. It lives up to their previous works (this is their 10th full length studio album) in that it's superb.

The first single is a collab with Wu-Tang called Hi. There's a single mix as well without the clan.

Great track and killer video in Hi however my favorite track from this album is the ballad Unbelievable.

The whole album is classic Texas as it's sensual and seductive. If you're into adult contemporary/old school pop music(Not BTS) you'll like this. But what the hell do I know? I think Bon Jovi is better than Bruce Springsteen.

You are a bigger (wo)man than the others on this forum for taking the few minutes to listen to the song "Hi feat. Wu-Tang Clan." Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Sorry you didn't listen to the other. But since you mentioned you like Texas with the rap lyrics...I'm obliged to mention Texas ft. Kardinal Offishall- Carnival Girl, which happens to be one of my fav. Texas songs. Damn straight it is. Hmm, for a follow-up The Killers enthused Texas song I recommend Dream Hotel (this is from 91 before The Killers were even a thing). Maybe I'm off base but I could see Brandon singing this.

Yeah but what about the music. You got Hi, Unbelievable, Carnival Girl, Detroit City and Dream Hotel so far. These aren't even their biggest pop hits(Say What You Want, Inner Smile, In Our Lifetime...amongst others).

Alright mate. The latest album has been out awhile now (and to you other schmucks who said you'll listen, cough, Apocrpyha) what's your take?

This album just gets better and better with each listening for me. Had A Hard Day and Sound of My Voice while not the greatest on this album are legit great songs. I could see this rivalling Red Book as my favorite Texas album over time.

Got to throw out the recent live video of Texas I found on youtube. She still sings it so damn well live...the In Demand portion....wow. Shar also hits all the right emotive actions on Inner Smile. Love it.
