For the ground beef:​
  • 4½ lbs ground beef
  • 8 oz bread crumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp chopped parsley
For the mashed potatoes:​
  • 1½ lbs cooked potatoes
  • 3 oz bacon, diced
  • 3 oz gouda cheese, shredded
  • salt & pepper to taste
Extra:​
  • 10 oz cream cheese
  • 16 oz whole wheat bread
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • flower-shaped carrots, bell peppers, and radishes to garnish
  • lettuce, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes to garnish

I mean, it's just meatloaf and mashed potatoes? With an extremely silly serving presentation?

It's odd and overly rich but it's not terrible I guess?

I get a meatloaf or really dark colored fried rice vibe from the cake...

the latter does make me hungry though since I haven't eaten

Looking at the video further honestly just ditch the cream cheese and make an actual bread crumb crust on the meat rather than just buttering and toasting them in the pan and that's a perfectly fine meatloaf. Stuffed meatloaf isn't really my thing but that's basically what this is.

Gotta say I'm disappointed, I thought looking at that picture that it was, like, a taco salad kind of thing. Meatloaf isn't bad, but it's no taco salad. :P

I remember growing up in the 90s and sitcoms would trash meatloaf like it was awful and I was like "You must get served shitty meatloaf my mom's was bomb" but maybe its associated with being a lower income food staple?
