This is the most interesting part to me. That is some range. From the writer of The Hangover. Craig Mazin has range. And a podcast.
It's already up on HBO Go.
Ah, ok. I'm actually not sure how long it takes for it to show up on Fios on demand. It can't be more than a day I figure?

It's up there. Not quite up better than Band of Brothers or John Adams yet. So a great first episode!already can tell this is going to be in the running for one of the GOAT mini series of all time
Oh yes, please do.
Probably a good idea because many people might not know it started without clicking on the thread.
That was an amazing first episode.
Anybody know how many episodes will there be?
My only problem really, they could have at least had accents that fit the location.Excellent first episode although it was moderately bizarre to me that every character in Ukraine spoke British English lol
Also this feels tonally like the sequel in spirit to The Terror - a sort of inevitably bleak and horrific show about people in denial about how bad things really are starring Jared Harris
Hickey, too!Excellent first episode although it was moderately bizarre to me that every character in Ukraine spoke British English lol

How many of them weren't British? I think having all actors conform to a British accent is silly, but if this has a cast of all British actors, I think it's fine.My only problem really, they could have at least had accents that fit the location.
It's a choice. A Ukrainian accent unconsciously implies to the audience that these are Ukrainian speakers who are speaking English, for some reason. My only problem really, they could have at least had accents that fit the location.

As opposed to Ukrainian speakers who are all speaking in English accents somehow unconsciously tells the audience that they are speaking Ukrainian? It's a choice. A Ukrainian accent unconsciously implies to the audience that these are Ukrainian speakers who are speaking English, for some reason.
