The "Save for 12" promotion knocks $3 off the list price of the service, expanding on a $12-a-month option first rolled out in the spring ahead of the May 27 launch. With the new offer, customers can sign up via distribution partners including Apple, Google, Hulu, YouTube TV and Comcast's Xfinity. The previous offer was extended only to those signing up through hbomax.com.

Get on the deal and save some money as it's become the most used streaming service for me as there's lots of good stuff each month, and it has one of the best variety of quality Movies on any service in my opinion.

Also Ridley Scott's "Raised by Wolves" just came out and it's the best sci-fi show in a long time, so weird and different from anything out there, add that to your list.

I'll probably hop on this and nix Netflix to keep my overall streaming costs down. I've been hearing very good things about HBO Max's catalog, including several of its ongoing shows.

And you can do it through partners as well... hmm may be tempted to do this through yttv to get linear as well

I wish I could cancel and resubscribe through YTTV; but my sub renewed just a few days ago.

I was about to jump on this and cancel by HBO subscription with Xfinity, but along the way I discovered MAX is included with my HBO sub. Looking forward to watching this Wolves show. Looks intriguing.

They really need to unify their libraries and get this on Roku. What is on HBO App and whats on Hulu App under "HBO MAX" is different than what is actually on HBO MAX. I hate that I have to use Airplay to get all the "exclusive" HBO Max stuff onto my TV.

Same. I'm using a friend's account currently and streaming through my PS4 or occasionally Chromecast. It's...fine, I guess. But I will not pay for this shit until they work out the deal with Roku. It's fucking ridiculous

Also this. I've been banging this drum for years but it's unbelievable that HBO didn't offer UHD/HDR In the past. It's totally unacceptable that with a new multi million dollar streaming set up they still don't

I'd be tempted, but the main place I would use it is in the bedroom to watch cartoons to go to sleep to, and in there I have a roku, so no roku no temptation.

Not worth it even at this price until they have 4k and hdr. HBO Max is obviously hurting and that's why they are bringing back a sale on service

So was there a separate subscription that you did to get the special pricing? I just cancelled my sub but it still only offers $15 on iCloud
