He's a neat guy, and I enjoyed what I saw when the June protests were going on. Then there was a stream where people were telling him the PS5 Event he was going to cover was starting while he was watching some random Ben Shaprio video, he blew up on camera and shut down the stream.
At that point he was probably overworked and streamed too much, so I understand the stress, but the initial reaction on twitter where he essentially blamed his entire audience and people tried to justify it with a weird cult of personality vigor was off-putting.
Getting screamed at and suddenly blamed for not caring about "important things" because of a bunch of comments other people were spamming just made me feel like shit. It's the dark part of a parasocial relationship, to get invested in someone and then feel stinged as if they were a real friend when something like that happens. So I avoid Twitch.
Both forms are election coverage are essentially chewing scenery before new numbers come in anyway, so...*shrug*
