I'm all for worker protections, but even in a more socialist society workers who publicly tarnish the image of their employer would be dropped as well. It's really sad seeing people defend it.

I have actually never read about this happening in Sweden where a employee have been fired for similiar stuff. We have very rigid laws against terminations.

hasan defends the n word usage? hmmm

I was really put off when I saw his initial reaction to the 4connor nazi discord leaks. I saw the leaks and was like "holy shit that is some of the worst shit I have ever seen!" Hasan was very meh about it and spent most of his stream yelling at chat and insinuating that we all have dirty Discord logs and whatever. These logs were atrocious BUT 4connor was part of the Austin crew and the Among us community so Hasan went soft on him. I'm not saying he defended him, he did say it was bad BUT most of his anger was at chat for being mad about the logs. It was weird.

I have been a fan of Hasan's influence on the platform but with the emergence of all these community games like Among Us, Rust and now GTA I have noticed that he capes for streamers that he plays these games with for fear that if he goes in to hard he won't be invited to these servers. He denies he does this but I have seen how upset he gets when he thinks he won't be invited to a particular server.

It's ironic that the reason he dislikes Obama so much was because Obama tried to get along with everyone and play the middle when unfortunately his need to be included in future community events is making him do the same thing. I had already stopped watching him as much because he is constantly telling his chat to suck his dick or that he fucked thier mom and it's just very off putting.

This might be one of Hasan's worst takes in a while. And I'm actually shocked Symfunny said that dude is such a doof and is usually clean as fuck in terms of his content. I don't know what the fuck he was thinking, and don't why Hasan even bothered to defend him. This isn't one of those instances where someone could've potentially said something else and we heard a different, it's clear as day he says the n-word.

Nah, you're low key acting like he defended 4Conner. I don't even know what you're going on about as Hasan was very clear that the shit he said was vile. You're just being disingenuous about it and it's kinda weird.

He didn't defend him I never said he did. I said he spent more time yelling at chat than being mad at what 4connor said. This has been a trend for him when a streamer does something objectionable. I have been a huge consistent defender around here of Hasan but he's actually changed. He's more interested in securing collaborations than calling a spade a spade and spends most of the streams insulting chat and not just the chuds but people he deems are "too woke."

And what sort of collaboration would Hasan want with 4Conner? A streamer who only recently got more known from Among Us and has nowhere near the viewership. You're delusional.

You're upset at some arbitrary amount of rage he should have versus how he addresses his chat.

Don't even know what's going on, but based on the responses, I'm wondering if the reason AOC didn't ask Hasan for help for her last stream has anything to do with stuff like this?

Hasan has the benefit of being able to be more lax while AOC really doesn't.

I really don't like when he yells at chat as well but sometimes it's understandable when people ask troll shit like this all the time

No need to call me delusional. Insulting me is not really worthwhile. 4connor was about to move in with Miz and was probably a month away from being huge.

Anyway I won't be posting in this thread anymore. Hasan has a very intense fanbase like Destiny does and I don't have the care or vitriol to go toe to toe with them.

Ah so Hasan was very "meh" in his reaction to the 4Conner stuff in your words because he knew that 4Conner was up and coming and wanted the chance at a collab with him. I mean you're just tossing shit out there really. Not excluding the fact that you're just straight up lying.

Damn, some really weird vibes/takes in here.

From my perspective (watching it live), Hasan said it's a shit and unacceptable thing to say, but the kid (Sym) seems like a good kid.

I really don't see how that's defending someone? What do you want him to do, publicly eviscerate him?

Yeah. It'd be nice for once for someone to suffer literally any consequence for this kind of bs

He's getting into it with chat tonight over puppy play, specifically that one female named Jenna (I think there was a thread on her here) and her BF doing the puppy play in public and she has an Only Fans built around it. He classifies it as "weird as fuck" and "not normal" because they are forcing people in public to take part in her kink. There are a number of people in chat are pushing back against him and his views.

Yeah I watched it. So funny his reactions. And to be fair I agreed with him.

i pretty much only hear about hasan when he's fucking up these days

apparently he got onto streamers for using ableist language in heated moments by accident (the infamous r word) then proceeds to use it himself

Anyone watching the stream today? Hasan got so upset because someone on the chat called him transphobic. I caught the end of it, so I'm not sure what the context was... but I have never seen him lost his cool like that.
He was legitimately upset. Not just angry but sad. I've never seen him lose his cool like that. Now he's just so quiet and not reacting to the video on the Vaccine rollout. Chat is blowing up and it's like he's giving them the cold shoulder.
I actually feel gross watching this cuz I feel like I'm a creep watching someone upset through a window. 😐

He was explaining what deadnaming was and used Caitlyn Jenner and Elliot Page as examples. People were then saying he deadnamed because he gave the example and used their deadnames.

Thats a dumb take. He was demonstrating what dead naming was, used an example then chatter called him transphobic? Weird take.
There was more to it because it was based on something that happened with Will Neff possibly playing a right wing character and deadnaming Caitlyn Jenner as that character. That is why the topic began while he was watching a covid video. I was listening in the background so I missed some of the context. But he was getting frustrated with some people's takes and blew up.

He explained shortly after that his channel will always be a difficult watch for some people because he deals with the topics of racism, misogony, transphobia, etc, and he has to show clips, gives examples, and discuss the varying beliefs.

Which in the context of educating people and viewers I think that's okay thing to do. I didn't know what dead naming was until now. Why would someone or chatter antagonizing him like that when there was clear context?

Here is the clip from Reddit with him losing his shit.

https://www.reddit.com/r/LivestreamFail/comments/n0qpp2/average_hasanabi_stream/

I've noticed chat loves to push his buttons and get all bent out of shape that he is violating TOS when he is doing some explaining or educating his viewers. It happened the other day when he was playing a news package about the rise of the far-right in Germany and there was Nazi footage throughout. So people said he would get banned because he was showing hate speech material.

I can't speak on that as I never watched those clips. But from what I've seen hes always been extremely progressive when it comes to trans rights.
Go back in this thread and stuff was posted.

He is progressive but when it came to cyberpunk he was completely dismissive of any concerns people had about the game. People gave him the thread here detailing the reasons and he glanced over it and then wrote it off.

He also Brought it up when watching some right wing grifter complaining about Mitch McConnell, saying that liberals saying cyberpunk was transphoic were the same as the right wing grifter.

If he read and responded properly, even if he disagreed, most people wouldn't have an issue but instead it was clear he just wouldn't even hear the argument properly because it involved a game he was excited for.

Did he get sponsored to play Cyberpunk? Would suck if the reason he dismissed those concerns was because of sponsorship .

I don't think so, unless someone corrects me on that.

Basically he was super excited for the game and let that bias cloud his willingness to hear out arguments against it.

It actually pushed me over the edge to unfollow him. I had already got bored of the dynamics between him and chat and shit like this was enough. The fact he had a 'heated gamer moment' calling someone the R word not long after chastising someone for doing the same thing earlier also doesn't help his case.

I remember a specific moment when he shat on Era's concerns over the transphobic stuff in the game. He really let his excitement for the game totally cloud his judgment. It was incredibly disappointing and was one of the things that lead me to unsubscribe and unfollow.
