Capcom usually tends to release a big game on or around my birthday.

The amazing part is that I was sorta struggling in that time period, so my super kind friends pitched their money together and bought me the collector's edition. Still one of my all time fave JRPGs.

No, but E3 has usually be in the same day as my Birthday. Some Sony conferences were in my exact day and it was quite fun to watch it celebrating

The Legend of Zelda came out on my 10th birthday. In Japan though so it only kind of counts.
I guess I actually got it like 2 years after that when it released in Europe, but I think it was for my birthday.

Well MGS2 was meant to launch in Europe Feb 8th originally, two days after my birthday.
I had it pre-ordered as a gift and then it got delayed till March 8th. That was the longest month of my life.

The Last of Us Part Ii, the game I'm more excited about than any game release or movie release of my entire life, is releasing on my fucking birthday.

Wanna know what's also kinda wild? Both my parents have the same birthday, May 29th, the game's pushed back original date.

The last time an amazing form of entertainment happened on my birthday was Game of Thrones's Battle of the Bastards 4 years ago.

So hyped.

ME2 is one of my favorite games and it came out on my birthday. But I didn't have an Xbox at the time so I didn't play it until a year later.
