If they play on the CEA graphics it will look OK compared to Reach but 1) you are really supposed to play on the OG graphics as the CEA one has a lot of consistency issues, and 2) the art direction in CEA is considerably worse. It is chronological in terms if story, but it would be an....odd way to play it imo. More than anything the gameplay and graphics would be a step down from Reach to CE.
I can't wait to blow up tanks by turning on armor lock right before they run me over.
I know you're being sarcastic, but I fucking love this about Reach.
MCC on 1X is damn fantastic now, so I hope that the PC version carries on that mold.
Steam version still requires an XBL account. You can count on crossplay.I need infos on crossplay/play-anywhere and how the Steam version plays into this ASAP!
But does that mean my XBL saves will carry over to the Steam version? That would be neat.Steam version still requires an XBL account. You can count on crossplay.
There's not a lot of details, but we do know you'll be able to individually purchase games. Presumably though they'll also have a "pass" or something to pay for all the games at once up front and download them as they release. So if we buy MCC on Steam, will it just get title updates that push each new game into the package when ready?
THERE ARE THOSE WHO SAID THIS DAY WOULD NEVER COME
WHAT ARE THEY TO SAY NOW?
Ah that's what they say.
I'm not being sarcastic. It's hilarious and makes big team battle a ton of fun for me.
Why are you so mad? I mean, we all know why... but jeez, this is a good thing, not a bad thing.
It's from Halo 2 dude, Bungie wrote that one.

The Steam version will likely treat the individual games as DLC modules. See Hitman 2 for an example of how this works practically.Yeah I've been wondering about the details of this. Will it be listed as Early Access since it's shipping "incomplete"?
Like the users above said it's apparently from Halo 2 (I did not know as well). Seems like an appropriate use of that line.I didn't even convey any opinion on the game, actually. I'm looking forward to playing Reach with proper PC controls.
I'm just commenting on an embarrassing line on a marketing image. Is that okay?

Let's get really nuts and bring Rallisport Challenge 2 to Steam as well!
...Hello? I can't be the only one that cares! God, I miss that game.
(The Forza Horizon games would be nice too!)
I expect there will be a bse MCC game and Reach is the first "DLC" on Steam available at launch.Would I need to have Reach installed to play the rest then? I don't recall how it works with Hitman 2 and ep 1.

Likely all the games will be DLC modules. It's possible they'll split the multiplayer off into further modules, too, unless they plan on saving that functionality for the Windows Store version.Would I need to have Reach installed to play the rest then? It's from Halo 2. Said in Michael Wincott's voice, it's an amazing line.I didn't even convey any opinion on the game, actually. I'm looking forward to playing Reach with proper PC controls.

Edit: thanks for the above posters actually clarifying the line.
We might find out about when and how we can play it on Friday. Sounds like it will start out as a limited testing thing.
