Halo Infinite Mark VII armor apparently coming to H4, Halo Online armor to Halo 3

Mark VII in 4 is fine, that's a good looking set. 343 armor in H3 is a huge nope from me though. I'd need the option to turn that off along with the new weapon skins and visors. Hopefully the fact that those are in the files is just an artifact of porting in Halo Online's maps.
Please get any early 343i armor the fuck out of Halo 3

This is good for anyone who likes the armour - no reason why it shouldn't be in there for those who want it and will enjoy it.
Ah you know what I mean, that art style, not hating on 343i as a whole
I actually think that Halo Infinite's Art style is far closer to 3 than any game since
Kinda strange situation where promotional Infinite armor will be coming to an older halo and not the "current" halo 5

For the record, MCC has an option to disabling new customizations, so if you don't like the new Halo 3 content, no problem.
BUT
I don't know for sure if this indicates what we think. They talked about bringing Halo Online maps to MCC, and I know the 360 Halos cached armor pieces with the map files, so this could just be part of bringing those maps over. But there's a very good chance it's both!

I don't know why y'all are whining about it coming to H3 when it literally looks like H3 armor.
There is goddamn Hayabusa armor in the game with a samurai sword on the back, but lord no, please don't put the armor that looks like Halo armor in my Halo game.
Here's what I know
(although the relationship between marks and generations is still kinda confusing to me)
halo 1 chief = mark 5 gen 1
halo 2/3 chief = mark 6 gen 1
halo 4/5 chief = still technically mark 6 gen 1, but upgraded by cortana while chief was napping (seemingly with some gen 2 features, so sort of a mark 6 gen 2)
locke/buck/etc = gen 2 variants
halo infinite chief = mark 6 gen 3?
halo infinite multiplayer first armor reveal = mark 7 gen 3

Mark VII is 343's armor design now. An entire shift in art direction is apparent so why are we complaining about 343 armor designs again when they look exactly how folk want Halo to look.
Putting Halo: Online armor into Halo 3 isn't putting new Halo Infinite-like designs into Halo 3, it's putting Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians-like designs into Halo 3.

That's not the armor coming to Halo 3, the armor is from Halo: Online which I believe is ripped from Halo 4. That helmet from Infinite may be coming to Halo 4 though, and it looks badass.I don't know why y'all are whining about it coming to H3 when it literally looks like H3 armor.

In all fairness it's mainly because MCC is on PC and 5 is not. There was a monster energy promotion where you can get 5 for free, though.
Good news about the Halo Online armor: you don't need to use it and if you hate it you get to shoot it. Calm down. lol
