I did not like that trailer much, I think it's because this series just isn't for me anymore. Like the fact they now get a group of people to hunt Michael is stupid and the writing is really bad. I also hated the last one the twist of the doctor was incredibly stupid.

Somewhere.
Damn, can't wait. This is going to be an absolute kill fest isn't it lol. So many deaths happening during this one night.

Yeah, this showed a lot of kills but there are many, many, many, many more since this proves that the leaked script is very real. That said, I don't think the trailer was that great but I'm really excited to see some of the events from that script happening on the screen.

I thought the reboot was just alright.

This taking it in the direction of Michael fighting buzzsaw welding firefighters and the town going on a hunt is perfection. It is also surprisingly untouched ground for the franchise too.

Trailer was weirdly cut but I see a potentially awesome entry underneath it all.

But getting a group together to finally kill him off is like the single smart thing in this series. I was thinking deploy a national guard while you're at it after seeing this trailer, nuke the town!

A whole ass town vs. a one eyed man in his sixties missing some fingers. What a crazy concept lol.

Looks fun as hell though. Liking that we're getting even more brutal kills than the 2018 film. I'm very curious where Halloween Ends goes after this kind of escalation.

How is that really stupid? That's practically the most logical thing done in the series.

Variations of this also happened in Halloween II and Halloween 4.
And Dead by Daylight

The alternative is a lone psychologist with a gun. At this point it'd be stupid if they DIDN'T have a full group looking for him. In 2018 it sorta made sense because he'd only killed, what, 5 or 6 people 40 years prior? But by this point he's killed multiple cops and even more civilians (and apparently the entire fire department) so you bet your ass they're going in as a group

Uhh shieeeet 👀

So the town is after him? I always like it when a lot of people team up to try to stop a seemingly unstoppable force.

Loved the 2018 sequel and felt it could have stopped there as it makes for a clean and damn near perfect book end to the original. I don't need this movie but I'm willing to give it a chance. At worst, we're getting another amazeballs Carpenter soundtrack.

I mean this is just ear porn.

OK this looks promising.

fuck it, im all in.

Halloween 1/2 are two of my all time faves, I have a soft spot for H20 (watched it a lot as a kid)

I was lukewarm on the last one but it was okay enough. This looks it though.

Am pretty excited for this. It's probably going to be the first movie I see in a theater post-pandemic, depending. Loved the 2018 film and it was an incredible theater going experience, so I can only imagine that seeing this one opening night considering all of the circumstances is going to be super crazy.

Halloween 2: This time, IT'S MORE PERSONAL.

Crazy this is the 3rd Part 2 in the series.

So if I wanted to catch up, because of all the reboots and retcons and spinoffs and all that mess, I could just watch the original, then 2018, then Kills?
Yeah, you'll miss a few references/ jokes that poke fun at the series, but nothing story essential needs to be known.

This was a great trailer. Cannot wait. Hopefully they're not leaning into supernatural Michael though.

Still disappointed in the reboot. She made that whole Home Alone trap setup only to abandon it to do dumb horror movie stuff at the end.

When I heard the word Transcend, I got triggered thinking we were going the 6 route. Thankfully it was about him transcending in the sense of him being pure evil.

There was absolutely no need for that trailer to show as many deaths as it did, but I can't deny enjoying watching the carnage unfold.

Eh… huge Halloween fan and this looks awful. The allure of original Halloween's was the suspense and barely seeing Michael. This is too much

I do hope that its better than 2018. For some reason while I really enjoyed it the first time I saw it, rewatching it made me like it less each time. Funny enough its the complete opposite for H20. Hated it the first time yet after rewatching it, it went in my top 3 halloween movie.

I never really understood that. The original film has it's purpose, and if they veered to close to it, people would complain that it'd be a straight up remake/rehash. People already do that with Halloween '18.

I think this film was able to capture a large amount of suspense, as well as brutality. Not necessarily in the same vein the original did, but I think that's a good thing.

The Carpenter soundtrack is one of his best. Glorious stuff. This track blew my shorts off.

Was really disappointed with the first movie (it REALLY didn't know what the fuck kind of movie it wanted to be - tried to be suspenseful horror, 80s slasher and pulpy revenge action all at the same time with about 4 different main characters. This seems more focused.

I'm glad these movies are releasing in October. It's so bizarre to me when horror movies, especially seasonally themed ones, release in November or later.

Can't wait. Bailed on the trailer partially through but I'm liking what I'm seeing. Hopefully carpenter is back on the soundtrack

I think McBride and Green did a great job with the last one. If all goes well then the original Halloween and this set of movies will be a staple during Octobers

While I love Halloween, I absolutely hate the part of the fandom that wants Michael to live all the time. He needs to die a horrible, permanent, death by the hands of Laurie and her family and everyone else he's wronged. Just reboot the story if you want to make a sequel after this.
