It would be pretty cheeky of Valve to do that when most other games are family share. Is this excluded from Family sharing? Is that a thing?
Not showing up yet.
Enjoy dude. Still an hour till I am home and then i have to unpack :(
Not trying to be snarky, but what kind of hard drive do you have?
He's back?!
48 min to unpack, what kind of compression is this? Edit: now seeing that I should have downloaded this to my SSD instead of HDD ffs.
I'm watching a livestream where the streamer did just that, and it didn't help at all. It will still unpack after a fresh download. This is so frustrating to the point where I"m tempted to just delete and redownload it.
Well I guess I am stuck waiting another 30 minutes then. I even tried deleting a few games off my SSD to make some space.I'm watching a livestream where the streamer did just that, and it didn't help at all. It will still unpack after a fresh download.
30 minutes is better than others. Cohh keeps deleting and redownloading and it's telling him a couple of hours minimum.Well I guess I am stuck waiting another 30 minutes then. I even tried deleting a few games off my SSD to make some space.

1xSata SSD, 1xNVMe SSD, 2xSata HDD. 360mbps internet. Guess I shouldn't have preloaded.Does it come out at midnight PST
It's compressed AND encrypted. I deleted my preload and just downloaded it. If your internet is over 300 Mbps, preload is not for you.
physics calculations at that scale would likely be impossible on the quest's mobile processorI'd be dope if they could get this game to run on a Quest natively in the future without the oculus link. I don't have a VR ready PC, but I guess HL:A is too taxing on a Quest.
