Didn't the L4D guys announce they're doing another zombie thing? Dead 2 Rights? Back 4 Blood? Something like that

You got any insider info?
Damn it we need some insider info stat!
Doubt it. I'm guessing headsets that support the actual SteamVR program. Which is most of them.
So it'll only be VR exclusive? That's the part that really sucks. A sequel for so long waited for and possibly to only be VR.
Consoles don't matter to them anymore. Unless something changed I don't think we'll see it on anything but PC.
Would like to be wrong though.
You guys are breaking my heart. However nice that would be, what was the last thing they released for consoles? CSGO almost a decade ago? I don't really think Valve is interested in console development.

Valve obviously know the VR audience is a niche audience. They are not making this game for the big bucks, they are making it because the truly want to push VR tech forward. They are one of the only videogame companies that are in the position where they can eat a loss on a project like this.
Well given the storyline of the series, it wouldn't exactly be shocking if it was both a prequel and a sequel.I'm hearing one thing and reading another. Maybe it's both? I'd have to ask around.
Not sure. Probably.
Like I said, I'll gladly be wrong because I don't care for exclusives and want everyone to experience it. But after the issues with patch certification on consoles Valve vocally gave up on them.

That game was also left to die on consoles. Like TF2 the PC versions are so different now it's basically not even the same gameHowever nice that would be, what was the last thing they released for consoles? CSGO almost a decade ago? I don't really think Valve is interested in console development.
Lol, what a perfect way to put itDefinitely a monkey's paw situation here lol. Still cool though.
If they want this to be a real 'Flagship' VR game there would be basically no way to port it to a 2d game.So it'll only be VR exclusive? That's the part that really sucks. A sequel for so long waited for and possibly to only be VR.

I don't think that's a reasonable expectation. Game design and world interaction is completely different in VR versus traditional modes of play, and if this 'flagship VR game' takes advantage of VR and VR controls to any real degree, that experience isn't likely to be replicated via traditional controls on a traditional screen.
The platform is SteamVR 👀VR platforms haven't been announced yet, speculating what it could be on aint port begging
Indeed, we were. My faith in the holy trinity of games has never been stronger. It's only a matter of time now.
Yo... Alanah Pearce legit mentioned this like 4 months ago. She wasn't lying..(Well kinda)
